No Name Calling Week

Originating nationally in 2004, No Name-Calling Week is an annual week of educational activities aimed at ending name-calling of all kinds and providing schools with the tools and inspiration to launch an ongoing

dialogue about ways to eliminate bullying in their communities.  Introduced to our school system in 2008 at MIW as a joint effort between PTO and staff, it was expanded in 2009 to include grades 3-6 as well.
