Box Tops For Education The PTO participates in the General Mills Box Tops for Education Program.
You can make a difference for our school every time your shop for groceries! Just clip the Box Tops coupons from hundreds of your favorite products such as cereal, yogurt, cake mixes and fruit snacks, and send them to your child's school. Each Box Top is worth 10 cents, and this adds up real fast!
Click here to see a full list of the participating items. Collection boxes are located in the Cumberland and North Yarmouth Town Hall, the Prince Memorial Library, the Wilson School, the Drowne Road School, and the North Yarmouth Memorial School. It would be helpful if you could trim the Box Tops to the printed size, as we have to have them as small as possible for submission. Your help dramatically reduces the amount of volunteer time required to process the submissions. Also, please check the expiration date, and be sure not to clip this off. more ways to help So far this year, the PTO has earned $ 1052 through this program. see more earnings
September winners - Kallee Gallant, Justin Hobart, Tim Ostergaard, Jonathan Piesik, and Cole Hartford. Kindergarten winner is Becky Carlson! Congratulations to all! BoxTops collections are changing. Instead of the individual collection sheets each class, K-5, will be collecting BoxTops. At the end of each month the class with the most BoxTops collected will win a prize such as popsicles or a popcorn party. This way more children can feel successful as we “Go Green” and eliminate the collection sheets. Please send your BoxTops to school with your child and they will find a collection envelope in their classroom. No need to do anything special with them, just send them in! We will announce the winners in the monthly PTO newsletter. As you may guess, changing the collection system means more counting of BoxTops. Submitting the BoxTops for payment requires they be grouped into units of 50 per bag, so you can see that we have lots of counting to do each month. If you would like to help count, please email me, mbunton@maine.rr.com and I can either get you a bag to count up at home or we can meet and count up together. I am amazed how many BoxTops our community collects and as a result earns money to our schools. Also, a reminder that local supermarkets are giving special BoxTops coupons if you purchase products in the BoxTops program. Please be sure to drop those coupons into the collection container as you leave the supermarket. We get credit for all those purchases too!
There are plenty of chances to earn Bonus Box Tops. Each month, check out the Bonus Box Tops section of the Box Tops for Education website for sweepstakes, contests and other bonus opportunities. check it now!
At the Box Tops Marketplace, you can shop at over 70 online stores like Oriental Trading Co., JCPenney and Lands' End. A percentage of purchases goes back to your school - at no additional cost to you! check it out!
