The purpose of the PTO is to promote communication and cooperation among the parents, teachers, and administration of MSAD 51 in order to provide the best educational experience for the children of the district. PTO Bylaws, Article 2

The PTO is pleased to coordinate two fun community events at Happy Wheels Skate
Center in Portland each year. It is scheduled from 2:30-4:30 on an early
release Wednesday in November and March.
The kids can bring their own rollerblades or rent
them there for a great afternoon of fun and
exercise with their classmates. There is a small practice area for those just
learning to skate as well as the
chance to do the hokey-pokey and the chicken dance on skates!
Transportation and supervision needs to be provided by the parents or another
designated adult. Join us for this
great community event! All ages are welcome!
