The Eagle's Perch On June
23rd Tom Gilley worked with
Don Foster and a team of volunteers to set up a piece of playground equipment
the PTO helped to purchase for the North Yarmouth Memorial School.
The equipment is in place, but is missing two pieces which are on order and should be here in a week.
The installation went well despite a plethora of
rocks that required many sheer pins for the auger and lots of hard work from
our many volunteers. Our volunteers included: Don and Kevin Foster who were
there early and left late, brought equipment, expertise, and a great sense of
humor to a crazy day. Chris Sacco, Jim and Jane Palizay and their sons Ben
and Gabe, Jon Sweeney, Kim Vine and her girls Kelly and Julia, Rob Casey, Tim
Lambert, Johnna Gilley, and Scott Gilley were all on hand working hard.
Storey Brothers graciously lent us a cement mixer, and Rob Casey brought in
his auger.
