The MSAD#51 PTO organizes several fundraisers each year in order to raise money for all of our enrichment activities. Without these funds, we would not be able to send students on fieldtrips to places like Old Fort Western, the freedom trail in Boston or Gray Animal farm. We also use these funds to sponsor Author visits, science presentations from Chewonki and Mr. and Mrs. Fish, just to name a few...Please visit our Enrichment section to learn more about how our fundraising dollars are spent!

    The Box Tops for Education and Hannaford Helps Schools are two programs which are ongoing throughout the school year and are simple and easy ways to help your child's school.

    Sally Foster is our biggest fundraiser and runs for the first few weeks of September.  Remember, 50% of all money raised comes directly to us!

    The Purchase Plus Card provides an opportunity to support enrichment for your child’s education, while saving money at area businesses!  A handful of local merchants have generously agreed to provide discounts throughout the next year, some are on-going while others are a one-time perk.  The cards are economically priced and you will recoup the cost after a couple uses.

    Touch-a-Truck is a hands-on event for the whole family directly following the Memorial Day parade to  explore 20-30 special vehicles and learn what purpose they serve in our community.  Sit in the cabs, ring the bells and honk the horns in a racecar, dump truck, fire truck, school bus, police cruiser and more! 

    Finally, we participate in the Original Works Program every year or two in the spring so parents can have lasting memories of their child's artwork.
